On a glorious Autumn day on 5 October, 8 Rotarians and partners headed to Fishers Hotel in Pitlochry for a weekend of fellowship and entertainment, organised by Eric and Elspeth Abell.
On Friday evening there was a trip to see the sound and light show at Faskally Forest where we were entertained by a series of 'Druids' who explained the relationship between people and the forest. Some were not quite word perfect as the show had only just opened but it was all good fun anyway and a stop at the last stall for mulled ginger wine proved very popular.
Saturday was a free day and most made the trip to House of Bruar for some retail therapy then back to the hotel for an early dinner before our visit to the Pitlochry Theatre to see 'Arsenic and old lace' which was greatly enjoyed, if a little cramped!
An excellent weekend and thanks are due to Eric and Elspeth for their organisation.
