On Saturday, members turned out in force at the Armed Forces Day in Bridge of Allan. This event is normally held in Kings Park in Stirling but was moved to the Games Park. There was a parade from the Bridge Inn to the Games Park where there were many stalls related to forces charities as well as entertainment and displays. The Club agreed to support this event with our now well honed crepe making skills.
We had been asked to hand out flags to the crowds lining the route of the procession and were delighted to have the services of two young ladies from Queen Victoria School, Bethany and Rebecca, who helped member Ed Campbell with this task.
Despite a fairly unsettled weather pattern, trade was reasonably steady and a good turnout of members ensured our customers were well looked after.
