A super evening handing over the proceeds from the Am Am golf day to Mags McCarthy from Strathcarron Hospice. Several members and board members of the golf club and sponsors together with Niall and Keith Erskine attended a short presentation of a £43k cheque. President Stuart thanked all the sponsors and for the support from the golf club and reflected on the additional funds raised this year by the Erskine family as a tribute to Roy Erskine who had the idea forty years ago to run the Am Am golf competition to support Strathcarron Hospice.
Mags McCarthy CEO Strathcarron Hospice thanked the Club and provided an update on current operations, highlighting that the Hospice currently has daily costs of about £19.5k.
Golf Club captain Russell Stewart echoed Stuarts comments and looked forward to supporting the event in future years,
