During the months of June through to October President Keith Loveless, his family, friends and Rotary members walked approximately 100 miles from Seaton, Devon to Hengistbury Head, Dorset in aid of the above charities with a target of raising £1000.00
If you would like to donate a little to help, please use the link below.
The walk involved 16,000 feet of climbs (2/3rds the height of Everest), temperatures of 35 degrees on some days, and 30 mile an hour winds and rain on others.
A huge effort in any case, and fabulously supported – thanks to all!
The views were stunning in fabulous weather during the weekends through June to October, only the first June trial walk was wet, windy, unseasonably cold, and nearly stopped plans in their tracks!
The conversations, friendships, support were great, and topped off by the finish welcome at Hengistbury, first by CRUMBS supporters with mince pies & mulled wine, then at Hengistbury’s delux beach hut with bubbly and a cream tea!
Well done all at East Cliff Rotary
