World Polio day 24th October 2024

On 24th October 2024 night the Nibley Monument was bathed in light to mark World Polio Day.

The Nibley monument bathed in purple celebrating Rotary World Polio day.

Rotary clubs around the world are united in their efforts to rid the world of this terrible disease, affectging some of the porrest communities in the world. With support from donors, including the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, Rotary and prtners immunise over 400 million children every year from polio.
