Monday 27th January 2025; Burns night
Over 50 Rotarians and friends enjoyed a superb night Excellently organised by John Mee, with a Haggis, carried by Ken, and fully addressed by John. There followed a Scottish quiz and an excellent show by the "Tom O'Shanter" group.

Wednesday 26th February 2025: Loading for Macedonia
Eighteen people helped to load a delayed lorry from Macedonia with a lot of equipment mainly for children. It didn't help as it was raining most of the time!

Physionet; Preparation work 29th January 2025
A number of tasks were undertaken by 11 Rotarians from Cotswold Tyndale and Chipping Sodbury. Work included cleaning and repairing walking sticks, a fridge, walking aids and wheelchairs as well as loading scrap metal for sale.

Saturday 15th February 2025; Valentines Ball
A masked Valentines Ball, (Phantom of the Opera theme,) raised £4800 for the Big Space Cancer appeal. Over eighty guests enjoyed singing from Kate Williamson and dancing to DJ Phil. A raffle and 'Heads and Tails' game, and mini auction, raised £2000.

Saturday 8th February 2025: District Youth Speaks - A debate
The District Youth Speaks Final competition took place at Churchdown Community Centre on Saturday 8th February. There were two categories for Intermediate (11 to 13) and Senior (14 to 17).

December 2024; Christmas collections
Members and helpers did the usual Christmas collections at Tesco in Cam in December. They raised £1503.65 for the Club's Charity account, which will go towards the 'Big Space' appeal.

Skittles vs Thornbury; Tuesday 28th January 2025
As part of the District annual Skittles competition Cotswold Tyndale played Thornbury on 28th January and were just beaten by 327 points to 311. On 4th February, after another close match, Tyndale won by 344 points to 330. Great fun was had by all.

Monday 16th December 2024; Christmas dinner
Nearly 50 Rotarians and partners met at Dursley Rugby Club for the annual Christmas dinner. We had a really good meal, some excellent entertainment, taking the lighthearted mickey out of various senior members of the club, and carol singing.

Members and partners enjoyed a very festive evening at 'The Fleece' Hillesley. There was an actively and lively singing of the 12 days of Christmas, and Chris Whetherly had produced an excellent quiz, (with the usual argument over the answers

Saturday 30th November 2024: Physionet loading for Ethiopia
On Saturday morning on 30th November 2024 twelve Rotarians, friends and Physionet staff loaded a 40ft container destined for Ethiopia. It was very full!

Rotarians from several clubs and helpers from the 'Community Action Trust,' fully loaded a large container for Zimbabwe on Saturday 3rd August. The grateful recipients have now sent photos of the equipment being used by them in Zimbabwe.

Rotarians and friends filled forty eight two-hour slots at Michaelwood Services, collecting £3147.00 for the Royal British Legion. The President laid a wreath at Wotton-under-Edge on Sunday 10th November.

Big Space Rotary launch; 10th October 2024
The Rotary launch of the "Big Space" fundraising appeal for Cheltenham hospital took place at Swinhay on Thursday 10th October, with approximately 75 guests.

Saturday 19th October 2024; Quiz Night
A great fun evening was held on Saturday 19th October 2024. Despite the fire alarm going off (due to steam from the delicious food,) over eighty quizzers battled to find the right answers. The event raised £1852 for 'The Big Space.'

Six founder members with nearly seventy other members, partners and friends enjoyed a very relaxed and celebratory afternoon, with excellent food and all the facilities provided by Derek Aston. Excellent musical background by Zak Lampard.

As a result of a cancellation in the District Boules competition members of the team decided still to play, but with friends and partners from our club. Followed by a pub meal! A great evening of fellowship.

Members and helpers ran the Wotton Town Hall Teas on Sunday 18th August, providing Tea and cakes and garden produce. The event raised £416.21. Much fun was had by those helping as well as those eating and drinking!

Sunday 14th July 2024: 16th Cotswold Classic and Sports Car rally.
Another first! The club organised the 16th Cotswold Classic Car Rally. Starting from Hillesley, 68 cars of various vintages took part in a 80 mile drive around the local Cotswold area.

A club first! Using equipment loaned from Thornbury Rotary we ran a Duck Race as part of our local community contribution to the Dursley Festival. A surplus of £32 was made for the Club Charitable Trust fund. Great fun was had by all.

Nibley Festival 5th to 7th July 2024
22 Rotarians and 6 'Friends' carried out marshalling duties for 73 hours mostly in the rain, with cold winds and mud. This raised nearly £900 for the Club's Charitable Trust account.

'Kids Out' day at Cattle Country, Berkeley; Wednesday 12th June 2024:
About 800 children aged 9 to 10 attended a fun 'Kids Out' day at Cattle Country, Berkeley on 12th June. Cotswold Tyndale sponsored 140 children with Dursley club, four schools; Cam Woodfield, Cam Everlands, Tortworth and Slimbridge Primaries.

Tortworth Lake Teas; Sunday 2nd June 2024:
Members and friends provided refreshments, teas, coffees, cakes, bacon butties etc at Tortworth Lake, on a hot and sunny day.. The event raised around £3800 for the Club Charitable Trust fund and will all be distributed to local charities.

Heart shaped Cushions: November 2023
Following a donation of Heart Shaped Cushions to Cheltenham Hospital in 2022 a request was received for some more. Another 150 now delivered.

The Club's annual "President's Night" was held at Chavenage House on Monday 17th May 2023. Forty two Rotarians and partners attended.
