David is a retired doctor from the Christie
David Poppitt is a retired Dr from The Christie Hospital here in Manchester where he work 40 years involved in Chemotherepy,
His talk will be about the history of the hospital when it was the Patterson Laboritories and the Holt Radium Institute. He hopes to inject some lighthearted tales into what could otherwise be a rather sombre subject, he says you can imagine over 40 years there were many lighthearted moments.
