Marilyn Gregory spoke to us about Leprosy
Whilst fully curable by modern drugs it still caries a social stigma in many countries .
Marilyn explained how the disease was transmitted by infected water droplets from sneezing and coughing . Marilyn told us about the early signs of the disease and how it progresses if left untreated , however there was still the misconception that it was spread by contact.
