The Vernon Mill fire of 1902 , talk by David Edwards Hulme
David has written a book after researching the fire in which his great grandfather died . The book investigates its causes and its effect both on a personal and wider level. Some of the lessons learnt (or perhaps not) are still relevant today following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
