Meeting cyclists from Bury
Members of the club and the eClub met with Bury Rotary club's cycle team
A group of cycling enthuiasts, who are Friends of Rotary, decided to enter this year's Rotary Ride in support of Prostate Cancer on behalf of the Rotary Club of Bury. They planned a route to visit a number of clubs in our district and selected the Rotary Club of Stockport Lamplighter as their one of their stops. Their intention is to have a photo with the various clubs that they visit in Manchester, Sale, Stockport, Denton,Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale and Bury. In total they will cycle approximately 75 miles, collecting sponsorship as they go.
Club members Ray and Tricia, and John from our eClub met with them as they arrived at our venue, and wished them well as they set off on the next leg of their route.
