Book Givaway

Once again we will be taking part in the Book Givaway this year. As part of Literacy Week, we will set up a stall at the Asda Store in Hulme, and will be giving away books to anyone that wants them. It is hoped that many of them will go to homes that do not have books in the house, as it has been shown that children have a much better literacy when there are books in the house. Our ukulele band will also be there to add atmosphere to the day, and collecting tins will be available for anyone that wants to give a donation, although this is not intended to be a fund raising event. The important thing is to get books into houses where there currently are none. If anyone has books to donate, especially childrens books, then use the contact button to get in touch.
