Dr Peter Williams, gave us a talk entitled "To the Moon and Back".

Peter gave us a talk about his time working as a physicist at The Christie, and how the work of The Christie has changed over the years. When the new unit was opened in Oldham, it was estimated that it would save patients half a million miles of travelling, which is equivalent to a trip to the moon and back.
