A meeting to celebrate the Heatons Open Gardens event.
A meeting to celebrate the Heatons Open Gardens event, and to say thank you to all those who opened up their gardens for us. Cheques were presented to Nicola on behalf of the Alex Hulme Foundation, and to Carly Spencer, grand-daughter of our member Ernie who passed away last year. Carly ran the Manchester 10K, raising money for Kidneys for Life. Both these were our nominated charites for the event.
John prepared a video of the gardens, which everyone enjoyed watching, particularly those that didn't get chance to see the other gardens.
