New Year Walk 2010

Fourteen of us braved the elements and walked from Disley to Lyme Hall, via the Cage. It was a beautiful crisp morning. Cold but OK once we got moving. We stayed at the Stables Tea Rooms for a drink, before heading back along the main road to Disley and the Dandy Cock. It was a great walk with great company, and well worth making the effort. The Dandy Cock made us very welcome with a nice warm room and a hot meal, very reasonably priced. Even had the football on the TV, although not many shared my delight at the score!
