Afternoon Farm Tour Information Sheet

We are very much looking forward to your visit to Farmer Barnes Dairy for a Farm Tour. Ideally

we take groups of between 20 minimum and maximum of 40 people. We never cancel a trip due to

the weather so we advise all visitors to bring/wear suitable clothing for the weather forecast on the

day of the visit. Sensible flat footwear or wellingtons are advisable during the tour.

Address and Directions: Look for FARMER BARNES DAIRY blue signs at the entrance of

Alma Bank Farm, Owston Road, Somerby, Melton Mowbray, Leics LE14 2PN

The SatNav will get you on the correct road out of Somerby village, continue for about 800m and

look on the right hand side, you'll see the farm entrance with two blue Farmer Barnes Dairy signs

on top of a hill. Continue down the drive and bear left towards the large farm buildings you'll see

car parking space. For users of What3Words: hood.juniors.prowl

The fully guided afternoon visit begins at 2.30pm and will finish around 4.30pm. There is plenty of

space for car parking and turning, including coaches. We have toilet and hand washing facilities

available upon arrival should you require them.
