Rotary Festival-2018

.

A small group of our members visited the Rotary Festival at Elvaston Castle to commemorate the Centenaries of the Nottingham and the Derby Rotary  Clubs.
A huge amount of effort had gone into the preparation for the event and there was plenty to do and see for all ages. From the Fun of the Fair to 60's music and a  varied range of events in the show arena. As you can see the Dako's Flying Angels put on a breathtaking display which even took President Elect Graham Hayes' breath away.
A Polio Iron Lung was on hand and Graham was quick to try it out. We are not sure how he got in and even less how he managed to get out but he is still here to tell the tale and we have photographic evidence of this truly amazing feat. More of this please in the next Rotary year from our next President.
