On May 11th we took Evie and Oliver from Wigman Road Army cadets and Liviya from Phoenix youth club to Buxton to enjoy the Rotary Youth Leadership award. They were looking forward to the weekend but the car was pretty quiet on the way there. On Sunday 13th we returned to collect three tired young people who had had an amazing time. We were able to see them presented with their certificates, hear stories of the weekend and collect all their belongings. There was chatter all the way home of caving, abseiling, climbing, raft building and making new friends. I said I was going to run this again next year for others to attend. All three wanted to go !! I would like to thank Malcolm Darroch and Peter Boyd for accompanying me over the weekend
