School for Parents 2018

.

Today I visited
School for Parents in Nottingham and was privileged to present a cheque to Andrea from WPRC.

The School for Parents is a local based charity which supports disabled pre-school children and empowers parents/ grandparents/ carers. Their aim is to develop skills and confidence in the children so that they can enter mainstream education.
I observed two rooms where children, parents and grandparents were using songs and signing, coached by the conductors to be able to complete simple tasks with smiles and great senses of achievement. I have taken away from today, to never take for granted what others strive to achieve even when you are only three.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Angie Perkins
