Just to let you know that the epicentre of today's earthquake was very close to the village and what was left of the houses from the previous earthquake has been destroyed. We have not been able to get through to Mahesh, but Gabrielle of the Rotary Club of Patan got through to him an hour ago and has just rung me to say that he and his family are safe but that the helicopters had arrived and were evacuating the injured. There is no let up to the tragedy.
