Raft Race 2025
The Sidmouth Regatta Raft Race made a spectacular comeback in August 2025 after a seven-year pause. Organised by Sidmouth Rotary with support from Sidmouth Lifeboat and Town Council, teams built homemade rafts, dressed in themed costumes, and raced across the bay. Prizes were awarded for speed and creativity, with memorable themed entries.

Annual Swimathon
Sidmouth Rotary’s annual Swimathon at Sidmouth Pool brings together teams of all ages to swim for sponsorship, raising funds for schools, voluntary groups and youth activities. Recent events drew nearly a hundred participants and significant community support.

Christmas Appeal
Each December, volunteers assemble and deliver hundreds of hampers and over a thousand presents across the Sid Valley. The appeal works with local agencies to identify households in need and coordinates doorstep deliveries by volunteers.
