We're a friendly group of volunteers, professionals, and community leaders based on the stunning Jurassic Coast. Together, we support youth projects, fundraise, and lend a hand at community events.
We believe in taking practical action to solve local needs, focusing on high-impact fundraising and community service.
We are a friendly group focused on connection, support, and professional fellowship, welcoming all walks of life.
Our work is driven by our motto, 'Service Above Self,' but we ensure that all our activities involve enjoyment and connection.

Young Chef
The **Rotary Young Chef Competition**, organised by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland (Rotary GB&I), is a national culinary contest designed to encourage young amateur chefs aged 11 to 17 to develop skills in healthy eating, food presentation, and organisation. Participants are typically required to plan, prepare, and serve a **two-course healthy meal for two people** within a **two-hour** limit and a strict budget (usually around £15-£18). Contestants are judged on menu planning, hygiene, skills, taste, and presentation. The event aims to boost confidence and passion for cooking, with the National winner receiving a significant prize, often a culinary experience abroad
Over the past five years, Sidmouth Rotary has delivered consistent community service and revived beloved town traditions, powered by local volunteers.

Annual
We actively support and run various competitions to mentor and showcase young talent from local schools, including Youth Speaks, Young Chef, Young Musician, and Young Photographer.
The club is quick to mobilise and support those in crisis, providing rapid relief in addition to our major annual fundraisers.
The funds we raise **primarily support the Sid Valley**, funding essential local community projects, youth initiatives, and crisis support efforts. While focused locally, we occasionally extend support to wider Rotary and critical relief initiatives where the need is greatest.
