Current Community Projects & Focus Areas
Hernia Repair Project
Sidmouth Rotary Club is partnering with the Rotary Uganda Rotary Club of Jinja in Uganda to support a project that aims to improve the lives of people with long-standing hernias. A member of the Club travelled to Jinja to provide equipment and supplies at the Herona Community Hospital in Kisoga, Mukono

The funds we raise **primarily support the Sid Valley**, funding essential local community projects, youth initiatives, and crisis support efforts. While focused locally, we occasionally extend support to wider Rotary and critical relief initiatives where the need is greatest.

Where and When We Meet
Sidmouth Rotary meets weekly on Wednesdays. Fellowship meetings are at the Anchor Inn (1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays) from 12:00 pm; speaker and partner meetings are at the Victoria Hotel (2nd and 4th Wednesdays), with members meeting at 12:00 pm for a 12:45 pm meal. Visitors are welcome; please contact the Club in advance if possible.
