Final Market collection day for 2023

We're back....
Clitheroe Rotary is returning to Clitheroe Market March 4th,  April 1st and June 3rd (not May 6th due to the Coronation) to collect unwanted goods in support of charity.
In the past you have have donated thousands of pounds worth of goods through Rotary, which have been passed on and gratefully received.

As last year, we will be collecting unwanted IT equipment, in support of 'IT Africa'. Computers, laptops, tablets, cabling but please no printers, as ink cartridges may not be available in the final destination.
Unwanted sewing machines and tools, in support of 'Tools for Self Reliance', Africa. In the past you have donated a magnificent 88 sewing machines which enable seamstresses to make garments such as school uniforms, as well as literally hundreds of power and hand  tools allowing users to become carpenters and mechanics. All we ask is that power tools are in safe working order.

We also collect unwanted mobile phones and spectacles, these we pass on to International Aid Trust. Unwanted foreign currency, either coins or notes, providing funds for Mary's Meals.
Unfortunately, we can no longer accept foil pill blister packs. This is due to the fact that Superdrug will no longer be passing on the blister packs for recycling. We hope to find a new company to receive your donations in the future, if you have any ideas, let us know. We thank all those from around the Ribble Valley, including Clitheroe and Longridge, who have supported this initiative over the last two years.

We look forward to seeing you on Clitheroe Market, between 8:00AM and 3:00PM June 3rd.and thank you for supporting those in need via Rotary.
