Ribble Valley Raiders Junior Cricket Team were presented with a cheque for £1,000 by Clitheroe Rotarians' Mary Robinson and Colin Bonner. The Raiders gained 2,000 votes in their Aviva Community Fund bid, their nearest rivals had 1,400 votes.
Team Manager, Farouk Hussain, said the money was very much appreciated along with the support Rotary gave during the funding bid. Farouk will be using some of the £1,000 to fund indoor winter training.
