Instead of the usual club meeting on thursday 28th May 2026 the international team held a charity night at Bellini's with Rotarians, family and friends (57 in total) getting together to raise funds for Superhumans Ukraine.
This is a nationwide centre for war trauma that specialise in prosthetics, reconstruction surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for adults and children affected by was since 2022.
During the evening we were entertained by the Ukrainian choir "Sunflowers and Choughs", (Iryna, Oksana, Natalia, Olha, Olha, Olena & Mariia) a community choir of Ukrainian women and children, singing songs from their country, also soprano oprea singer Rebecca Moon
The evening was a great success raising over £700 for the charity.
The club wish to thank Rtn Paul Brocklebank & Rtn Roy Vannoey for orginising the evening,To Bellini's for the service and to all the lady singers for coming along, making it such an enjoyable evening.
