Rotary sponsors Defibrillators
Torrington Rotary President Martyn, with the Torrington Mayor & Council at the annual Defibrillator renewal
Earlier this year the leases for the defibrillators were once again due for renewal.
With funding provided by the League of Friends of the Torrington and District Cottage Hospital, Devon County Councillor Cheryl Cottle-Hunkin, Rotary Club of Torrington, Great Torrington Town and Lands Charity, Torridge District Councillors and Great Torrington Town Council we were able to ensure that the defibrillators sited at the Museum, the Methodist Church, the Fire Station, Torrington Cycle Hire and the Old Bowling Green (Torrington Commons) were renewed for the next four years.
Today representatives of each organisation came together to enable us to thank them properly.
