Rotary is all about Community

Torrington Rotarians are all keen to help our local community....  Linda and David have been doing just that for more years than they care to remember, and so our club honoured them this year with special awards. 

Whether it's been at local school competitions, helping on street collections or at our 'pop-up' shops, organising last winter's warm coat collections, or a myriad of other activities, they have rolled up their sleeves and willingly donated time to help.

Our local community needs people like Linda and David and our other club members, all of whom believe in the worldwide Rotary motto of  ' Service above Self '.    So whilst we certainly enjoy our social meetings & dinners, we also like to be involved in all kinds of activities that will support our town and community.
