Friendship Boxes for Ukraine

Torrington Rotary despatched boxes to Ukrainian children

Our club has joined in a Rotary programme to send boxes of activities & gifts for children in Ukraine.   We collected colouring books, pens, and lots of other small items which we hope add a little joy to the children's lives. The club had many donations (including the plastic boxes) and is very grateful to all those individuals and businesses who contributed.

The photos show some of the boxes packed and then being loaded onto a truck which will take them on their journey.
