Emily Wapshott's report on THE DIG


Emily and colleague Belinda told us about the dig,  the fragments of pottery, clay pipes and what might be floor tiles... all really fascinating and hopefully they will learn a lot more as they catalogue all the individual pieces.   Emily said it was a huge success with so much community involvement.   She hopes to present a more detailed talk at the Town Hall in the future, once research is more complete.
