Having Fun

Whether it's enjoying a social evening at the Torrington Golf Club (or elsewhere occasionally),  visiting interesting places   (a local vineyard!), or  playing skittles (we are a champion team),  Torrington Rotarians always have FUN.   We come from diverse backgrounds too.   So whilst we are mostly retired, our previous occupations are incredibly varied and we've always got something to talk about.   

Thanks to Rotarian Stephen Saywell, our club regularly enjoys 'themed' evenings or outings... we've 'flown' on a plane (inside Stephen's shed), complete with airline seats and dinner on trays, enjoyed 'fishy' evenings with catering from well-known fish restaurant, and in summer we enjoyed another 'Freezyjet flight' courtesy of Stephen & Linda Saywell.   

At our 2024 Christmas Party, Steve devised a fiendish Christmas Quiz.   Our guests Fr. Steve Turner and his wife Katy thoroughly enjoyed themselves (see photos above) and she won the Quiz too!
