Visit to FOWEY LIFEBOAT STATION
This Lifeboat Station was first opened 165 years ago and now supports two lifeboats:
1) Trent Class Offshore 'Maurice & Joyce Handy' 14 - 18
2) Inflatable Rigid 'Olive 3'

Following on from the meeting last night, I
enquired about the possibility of a visit.
They are re-starting visits with effect from
Easter and I have booked Friday, 21st April 2023 for our Club visit.
The details are:
- meeting time 10.30am at RNLI, Passage Street,
FoweyPL23 1DE
- duration of visit 90 mins approx for guided tour
of the all-weather
lifeboat, inshore lifeboat and the boathouse.
- cost £5 per person
- car park at Caffa Mill, Fowey PL23 1DF which is
adjacent to the car
ferry.
- we have to confirm numbers in advance so please
let me know
whether you wish to come along by MONDAY 6TH
FEBRUARY by e-
mail.
- given the timing, those with time on their hands
may wish visit
one of excellent Fowey pubs for a spot of lunch or
just a pasty and
a pint after the tour.
- THE VISIT IS OPEN TO HUSBANDS, WIVES OR PARTNERS
