The Rotary Club of Princes Risborough supports many local and national charities with money donated to the club and raised during our various fundraising events.
We were able to donate towards the Chiltern American Women's Club, in support of the Motor Neuron Disease Breathing Support Project, and received the following note from them:
Dear Mr Bowyer
I cannot tell you how shocked, thrilled and overwhelmed I was when I opened the Club's post a few moments ago and found your cheque for £500. Firstly, sincere apologies in the delay in getting back to you. We have had a few difficulties accessing our PO Box recently so have only just been able to get our post, hence, the delay in responding to your incredibly generous donation. I hardly know what to say, apart from a sincere and heartfelt 'Thank you' on behalf of all of our members to everyone at The Rotary Club of Princes Risborough. All of the money we raise will go to the ‘MND Breathing Support Project’, which has the full backing of the Chiltern Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The project will provide a huge benefit to MND sufferers in the Chilterns area.
