Cowbridge Rotary decided once again to celebrate World Polio Day this year, however it had to be virtual. Guests from Cape Town SA joined members and friends of the club to hear the story so far, share a meal and then be entertained by the Lions Youth Brass from Cheshire. Their Honorary Member and Polio Ambassador “Roving Ronnie” completed the 1240 Challenge. He travelled far and wide to spread the word about the incredible work Rotarians have achieved In the quest to eradicate Polio.
Were delighted to light up the Porthcawl Pavillion. They also had a very special purple window display in their local Trinity Church dedicated to our Polio Eradication project.
