Compliance

District Specialist Officers

Rotary Clubs organise numerous events involving members of the public, and of course the main aim is that everyone has a thoroughly enjoyable time. Consequently it is of paramount importance that all activities are compliant with current legislation on Health & Safety, SafeguardingEquality & Diversity, Data Protection and are fully covered by Insurance. All Rotary clubs in Great Britain and Ireland are obliged to sign a Compliance Agreement and lodge it with the District Secretary as a requirement of Insurance cover. District Specialists Officers are apointed to advise on these matters and ensure there is a full training programme available.
