Compose, frame, shoot! Professional photographer Norman Moulsley will be among those helping us to think about what makes a photograph interesting enough to get into the press, attract attention in your Bulletin or make the world at large sit up and take notice on your website.

There will be plenty of hands-on opportunities to crop, enhance and adjust the size of your images to suit your needs in Photoshop, exploration of the possibilities offered by tools you already have with the Microsoft programmes on Windows operating systems or those built in on a Mac plus ideas on other alternative imaging software packages, including free downloads from the web.

As ever, we all learn from each other, so do bring with you any images you are particularly proud of or have attracted the right sort of attention when promoting an event.
