Local Community Supporter Nicholas Smith Honoured

Nicholas Smith with President David Thorpe Wednesday 1st September saw Ruislip banker Nicholas Smith was honoured by the club in becoming an Honorary member of the Club and also being awarded Rotary's Paul Harris Fellowship.  Named for Rotary's founder Paul Harris, fellowships honour Rotarians and other members of the community who embody Rotary's motto - "Service above Self".  Nicholas is well-known throughout the borough for his tireless efforts for each year's Mayor's charities, for Life Education and Shop Mobility which he supports annually and for all the other individual charitable support he causes from Barclays.  Not every area gets this support from Barclays - Hillingdon benefits because Nicholas gives so much of his time for our local good causes - we're all very lucky!
