Crocus planting

Fri, Nov 20th 2015 at 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Fun today at St. Pius School!
The picture shows our Club team hard at work making a very large mud pie - sorry - planting crocus bulbs in the shape of the Rotary wheel using yellow and purple bulbs.
We were helped at one stage by 8 pupils from St Pius X RC Primary school, but we nearly lost a couple in the mud so they returned to lessons and left the final planting and returfing to David, Phil, John P and John McG.
President Angela helped with the marking out before leaving for an appointment.
It's understood the grass will recover!

Stewards for the evening should be at the venue NO later than 6:30pm and should find a replacement to act for them if they are unable to attend. If a meeting is cancelled this list stays as it is - it does NOT move forward by a week.
