Our speaker this evening will be Jim O'Neil and his subject - The Fenwick Weavers. Jim was originally due to talk to us at the beginning of January but had to postpone.
He will tell us the story of the Weavers and how they embodied the concepts of co-operation so much so that they are now recognised as the founders of the Co-operative Movement and also he earliest Credit Union and what is being done to memoralise that.

Charlie Boax, who attends Grange Academy, was the winner of our local Rotary Young Musician competition. On Sunday, 23 April 2023, Charlie competed in the RIGBI Young Musician Final in Manchester and was again successful.
