A 14 year old boy in Malawi, when asked what he wanted in life, responded, ‘I just want to have enough to eat and get to school one day’. Not a lot to ask for.

Kilmarnock Rotary club heard an uplifting talk from Derek Fairclough, representing Mary’s Meals. Found by Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow in 2002, the Charity now feeds 1.1 million children every day across 15 countries. Regretfully with the Syrian refugee crisis at the moment the demand continues to increase.

The charity believes that every child should have an education and one good meal when at school. Education + Food = Hope

All it takes is £12.20 to feed a child for the day.
