Stroke Awareness Day - 2017 is on Saturday 22nd April


Each year in April our Club organises a day on the market place where anyone can have their blood pressure checked by qualified medical people. This is free. The aim is to make people aware of any possible high blood pressure which could lead to a stroke.

Ripon Rowels Walk (As devised by Les Taylor)


In 2012 the Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels agreed in conjunction with NYCC to maintain the signage on the walk and revise the original booklet written by Les Taylor. This we did in 2014.

Christmas hyacinth bulbs for local residents


Each year Ripon Rowels plants up over 100 bowls with Christmas flowering hyacinth bulbs for distribution in the Ripon community.

Canal Trip - 26th August 2014


Members on a narrow boat trip from Ripon canal basin through the locks and back. Congenial meal afterwards on a lovely evening.

Sensory Garden Refurbishment 18.06.2011


The sensory garden was created for visually impaired to be able to sit and enjoy the smell of the various flowers and bushes.
