Our District Governor is passionate about getting involved with our youths so this year he and an amazing team are setting an apprentice style challenge for youths accross the District with clubs support.
What?
Clubs accross the District are encouraged to get in touch with youth groups such as Schools, Scouts, Guides, Cadets and more. You will be supporting young people to raise funds for charities ShelterBox, Litteracy in a Box and for their own causes.
As a club you will pledge to loan £50 to the youth team with the memorandum of understanding for the process of payment back to the club at the end of the challenge. The team will consider how they can invest that money and raise funds by reinvesting the profits for the duration of the challenge. The youth team will keep 50% of what they raise, splitting the reaminging 50% between ShelterBox and Litteracy in a Box.
When?
Starting on or after 1st October 2024 until February 15th 2025 where the top 3 winners will be gifted a trophy, certificates and cash vouchers towards an organisation of their choice awarded in March 2025.
Where?
This challenge is all accross the District and winners will be announed at the 2025 Conference at the Crowne Plaza.
Who?
