Rotary e-Clubs follow the same policies and good service as all Rotary clubs. The key difference is that an e-Club conducts its weekly meeting over the internet using the club’s website, rather than being physically present at a meeting. Members can also attend meetings at any time and any day of the week, interacting with other members in a social networking environment.
The members of an e-Club decide on the projects they get involved in and the club provides the overall framework, to enable members to undertake these projects. Members can get involved in a vast range of events and causes; helping to raise funds and support the community at a local, national, or global level.The most successful international project, that some clubs are involved in helping is the campaign to help eradicate Polio – the ‘End Polio Now’ campaign.
Locally, they set up projects in the local community. All views count and, as a member of the e-Club, we welcome you to bring your own ideas to the online meetings and together we can help make a significant difference.
