PDG Ganesh Award

Rotary International's highest honour the Service Above Self Award is awarded to PDG Ganesh

Many congratulations to PDG Ganesh. The Rotary International Board of Directors selected Ganesh to receive the Service Above Self Award.

This award is RI's highest honour which they bestow on a member.  The Board selects just 150 Rotarians or Rotaractors each year who demonstrate exceptional humanitarian service and commitment to improving the lives of others.

DG Ian Hughes was joined by many members of the District team and Rotarians from Merthyr Tydfil Rotary when the award was accepted by Ganesh's son Peter on his behalf.

PDG Ganesh has been in Rotary for more than 50 years and has dedicated his time to supporting communities both at home and abroad. His commitment to Rotary's Polio Eradication project, Jaipur Limb and many other projects has been exemplary
