Health and Safety Bulletin 2

Safeguarding Policy for your Club

Posted on Compliance Section on D1150 are Templates for Clubs to align their Policies to RGBI Guidance for Safeguarding areas under their control.

All Clubs if they do not have a Compliance Officer must at least have a registered Safeguarding and Health and Safety Officer(s) who ensures that Policies are maintained and deployed in all of their activities and events.

Would all Clubs please ensure that these necessary requirements are adhered to plus review their exisiting Policies in line with proposed Templates which copy exact RGBI guidelines.

External bodies are in their right to ask to view these active Policies when integrating with Rotary Clubs initiatives and there have been recent examples in RGBI where Clubs have been e.g denied Grants from Local Authorities due to their absence/age of said Policies.
