The Handover event was a huge success and feedback from those who attended was unanimous. Great food, great entertainment, fun and fellowship in a very relaxed and informal atmosphere.
There was excellent entertainment by three vocalists from Loud Applause Rising Stars (LARS) Rhys Hunter, Betsan Daniel and Lauren Elizabeth Williams who were expertly accompanied by Stewart Roberts and introduced by their mentor Cerith Owens, Immediate Past President of Llanelli Rotary.
Following lunch, IPDG Malcolm gave a brief review of his year and presented sapphire Paul Harris awards to Bob Wilson and Gwenda Griffiths. Malcolm and Carol also gave a personal Paul Harris award to Eleanor Wilson for her unwavering support.
DG Ian talked about his plans for the year and introduced his District Team. 
DG Ian, thanked everyone who was involved in the planning of the event, especially Alison Evens (District Secretary) and Carol Llewellyn (AG Area 3) and PDG Maggie Hughes who acted as MC for the day.
