Cardiff Rotary Celebration of Their 100 Year Birthday

Cardiff Rotary hosted an early celebration of their 100 year birthday with a reception at Cardiff Castle which included a Beating Retreat Ceremony by the Band of The Royal Welsh.


Cardiff Rotary was chartered in November 1917 - the first Rotary Club in Wales.  

To celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Wales a number of events and legacy initiatives are planned in the coming months.

The Beating Retreat celebration was attended by Rotary GBI President Eve Conway, District Governor Steve Jenkins, District Governor Elect Maggie Hughes, Cardiff President Keith Wilson and President Elect George Mercer.
