Rotary Working Around The World
Our district international committee works with all our clubs in coordinating projects and responding to international disasters.
Working closely with our Rotary charity (The Rotary Foundation) we are able to facilitate grants both large and small to Rotary's areas of focus namely:
- Promoting peace
- Fighting disease
- Providing clean water
- Saving mothers and children
- Supporting education
- Growing local economies
Eradicating Polio
A Rotary flagship project since 1985 has been the eradication of polio, which we are so close to achieving. Many Rotarians have travelled to India to personally take part in national immunisation days.
