Overall Goals for the Year

To maintain and if possible increase membership numbers
To improve communication between members.
Carry on having a positive impact on our local community and further afield.

Membership Goals

To encourage our exisiting members to recruit new members.
To mentor new members
To recognise members' skills and aspirations.

Youth Goals

To carry on with the youth competitions.
To donate to Club and organisations where appropriates
To find ways of futher encouraging younger members of the public to participate in the Rotary events.

Project Goals

Focus on identifying specific needs of our community and beyond
Look for sustainable projects
Maybe consider a larger project.

Public Image

Put events, we consider important on social media
Keep our website up to date
Look for places to put information for the public to views, including using QR codes.

Events

To carry on with the successful Steam Rally
Carry on with events involving youth.
Carry on with other successful events.
Social events to be ongoing troughout the year.

Conclusion.

To show the people of our community and beyond the positive impact Rotary has on people's lives.

The Annual Steam Rally returned on 3rd and 4th June 2022 after a break of three years due to lockdown. The Rally is the main source of funds for the Rotary Club to donate to worthy causes via it's Charity the Abergavenny Rotary CIO.
