Lunch

Fellowship and AGM of the Abergavenny Rotary Charitable Incorporated Organisation.


The Club's newest member Miss Jackie Rogers of Abergavenny was inducted into membership at the Club's Fellowship meeting this lunch time. Seen pictured here from left to right are Julie Miles - Proposer, Jackie Rogers and Club President Dean Christy. Jackie is a retired Legal Accounts Clerk and is the Treasurer of the Llantilio Pertholey Women's Insitute and an active member of the Abergavenny WI. Jackie said she was delighted to be joining Abergavenny Rotary Club which does so much for the local community as well as Internationally. With her accounting background, she is looking forward to helping the Club Treasurer Geoff Ball with the financial administration of the Annual Steam Rally in May 2024.

Also Elected today, as the Club's second Associate Member, is Mr David Holman, the partner of Club Member Martha Holman. More on this story with a photo of David and the President at the next Partner's meeting on 12 March 2024.

The Annual Steam Rally returned on 3rd and 4th June 2022 after a break of three years due to lockdown. The Rally is the main source of funds for the Rotary Club to donate to worthy causes via it's Charity the Abergavenny Rotary CIO.
