A closely fought contest between golfers representing the Abergavenny and Crickhowell Rotary Clubs took place on the afternoon of Tuesday 5 September 2023. The two Clubs have previously played each other eight times since the competition started about ten years ago. Crickhowell now lead the series by 5 games to 4 having beaten Abergavenny by 30 points to 26 in today's thrilling match.

Also photographed are Anstie Blackham receiving caps for nearest the pin and the longest drive. Dennis Hardwick received a sleeve of balls for being the best Crickowell player and Matthew Prosser received a sleeve of balls for being the best Abergavenny RC player.
