Quiz - Newport Rotary vs Abergavenny Rotary

First round match in the Area Quiz competition with Abergavenny playing away at Newport Rotary Club - Tredegar Constitutional Club, Oakfield Road, Newport.


Newport narrowly win against Abergavenny 43- 40 in this first round match of the Area 6 Quiz. Abergavenny's score of 40 points make them the highest losing team from the first round, so they go through to the next round against Newport Uskmouth Rotary Club. The Annual Steam Rally returned on 3rd and 4th June 2022 after a break of three years due to lockdown. The Rally is the main source of funds for the Rotary Club to donate to worthy causes via it's Charity the Abergavenny Rotary CIO.
